Nuclear Toilet Paper

Methinks the forum is dying. And I think the Blogs were the killing blow. Don't get me wrong... there is some potential for goodness there. For goodness' sake, Shaun's entry on The Little Ones is completely beautiful (Shaun, I'm gushing again... you know you deserve it! ;) But I think the Blogs foster isolation. Each person becomes an island in a realm that was meant to encourage conversation and creativity. We had it, for awhile. There were wonderful conversations, ideas shared, arguments engaged in, playfulness encouraged. Now, we simply write what we think or feel without much regard for the interaction we are discouraging. I think it's sad. I miss the conversation.

That makes sense. However, I think that relationship issues are having a much greater impact.

Very true, and very boldly put.

So, what are we going to do about that?

The situation is already irreversible as far as I can tell.

Do you hate me?

We should probably continue this discussion offline. And no, I don't hate you.

Okay. I'll give you a call when I get back from California.
