Nuclear Toilet Paper

I am wondering: What have been some of your favorites on the forum so far? Do you have a favorite discussion? Favorite one-liner? Favorite link? Favorite joke? Do you have a favorite use for the forum (communication, discussion, planning, amusement)?Just curious as to what everyone has enjoyed most...

You use the sigma!? Now I'll never know what Shaun really said....

I have enjoyed links (when I can click on them, apparently I have a huge usability issue with copy and paste). I have enjoyed the banter. I use NTP mainly as a long-running background conversation, like a game of chess by post.

Don't worry... the sigma thing was all a long time ago, and I decided to be a nice person and not mess up his stats any more.

The stats are long since thrown askew. If the project ever takes my fancy again, I'll go back and try to realign them, but it seems that it didn't really garner much but a passing interest.

I highly enjoy the philosophical conversations we get into, be they ever so pointless. :)

This is my first time on NTP. I don't know much. What's up with the sigma??? And faith, I can't wait till you come home.

"Σ" (I don't know how to do that, so thanks ot the sigma button +cut and paste) is Shaun's all-pervasive sign of magnificent evil aparrent only to him and his ilk. Or maybie his whelk. Because I like that pun. (Say it out loud.) But, really, it is his 'sign' since forever with esoteric connections to his name, signaturea dn mathmatical genius.

In contrast to Faith's grammatical genius.

And spellogical genius.

Not in contrast to *my* grammatical abilities, Hilton, but to *yours*. I will not contest the spelling; I make fun of myself for it, and have aparrently become well-known for such faux passes. That, I can live with. Incorrect, I can be; improper, never!

A little more megalomaniacal than I would have put it, but yes. The capital sigma has more-or-less become my symbol. My middle initial is E, which I replace with the cap sigma (never mind that sigma correlates to our letter 's'. Looks are good enough for me). It was brought about after a semester of calculus. Many, many sigmas were encountered by me during that semester and is now thus ingrained in my psyche. Or psychosis.

Mmmm....whelk...
